Maternity Photoshoot Scarborough

Your maternity photoshoot can take place either in my studio, located in Scarborough, or outdoors in the surrounding areas around North Yorkshire. We will discuss the exact location after booking, along with other session details.

Each bump photoshoot is carefully planned and tailored to your preferences and requirements. The session typically lasts up to 1.5 hours and includes capturing images of the expecting mother, also with partner and children if you’re up to more family option.

Experience in posing is absolutely not required. During the session, I assist with body positioning to capture you in the most flattering way. Professional lighting is adjusted to highlight only the desired curves. Subtle editing and correction in post-production process allows to cover unwanted imperfections and stretch marks. 

My goal is to provide women with the confidence to leave behind any worries or uncertainties about their changing bodies as they step through the door of my photography studio.

Outfits and other accessories for a mummy-to-be are provided, but you are welcome to use your own if you prefer. We will have a discussion about the type of dresses, gowns, and fabrics that will correspond with your preferable style of the pregnancy photos.

My photography studio also has a collection of outfits for little girls. Other participants in the session will need to dress themselves.

Please ensure you bring your own white, black, or nude underwear.

If you have any special accessories like teddy bears, little baby shoes, or socks, feel free to bring them along on the session day. Everything that matters for you can be incorporated.

Maternity photoshoots are ideally scheduled between the 28th and 36th weeks of pregnancy when the bump is beautifully rounded, and the future mom is still feeling quite comfortable. 

For your convenience it’s best to get in touch just after the first trimester.

Pregnancy photoshoot concentrate on a mother and her bump, however it’s  an incredibly special moment for both parents and your other children (if you have any), they might be no less excited! 

It’s up to you whether you prefer to make the session and time be yours for a moment, or you’d like your family to participate too. The session plan is always created individually. If you want to have some of the shots together and then concentrate on yourself, that’s the option too!

Due to several reasons, including limited studio space, I recommend that only immediate family members, such as parents and their children, attend studio photoshoot.

If you would like grandparents or other loved ones to take part, please discuss it prior the session.

About 1-4 weeks after your maternity photoshoot, you’ll receive an invitation to visit my studio here in Scarborough for a viewing appointment.

During this session, all your beautifully edited pregnancy photos will be presented to you in form of a slideshow.

This is the moment when we can discuss and decide on the perfect product package that suits your preferences.

I want to assure you that there’s absolutely no pressure to make any commitments before or during the session.
