Babies grow quickly, and before you know it, they’ll be on their feet, exploring the world. That’s why it’s essential not to miss the opportunity to capture these precious moments.

What to expect?

A Sitter Baby Photoshoot can either take place at my photography studio in Scarborough or outdoors in the surrounding area of North Yorkshire.

During a 1,5-2h photo session we create a full family keepsake:

– A selection of baby portraits against 2-3 different backgrounds, ensuring an enjoyable experience for your little one.

– Portraits of the siblings.

– A portrait of you and your baby.

– A portrait of the father and the baby.

– A family portrait.

What to prepare?

I provide all the necessary outfits and accessories for your baby during the Sitter Baby Photoshoot in my studio.

I also have a collection of dresses available for mums and girls. However, other participants in the session should come dressed on their own.

If you have any special items like hats, toys, or name letters that you’d like to include in your baby’s photos, please feel free to bring them along. Your input is always welcome!

WHEN TO PERFORM A SITTER PHOTO SHOOT

As I take reservations well in advance, I recommend scheduling a Sitter Baby Photoshoot when your baby reaches around 7-8 months of age. This ensures that your little one will have developed the ability to sit unassisted comfortably.

Who can attend the session?

The baby, of course, along with the parents and any siblings, if there are any.

Family photographs hold immense significance. They serve as timeless keepsakes for you and for future generations to come.

For logistical reasons, like space constraints, we prefer to have only immediate family members (parents and their children) present during studio portraits.

If you would like to include grandparents or other cherished loved ones in the photoshoot, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

After the session

Around 3-5 weeks after the session date, I will invite you to my studio for the viewing appointment.

During this appointment, I will showcase all your beautifully edited images in the form of a slideshow.

This is the moment when we will discuss and decide on the product package that suits you best.

Rest assured, there’s no need to make any commitments before or during the session. Your comfort and satisfaction are my top priorities.

Investment

A non-refundable session fee of £50 is necessary when booking to secure your spot, make preparations, and conduct the photoshoot.

The selected package, ranging from £250 to £390, will be due on the day of our viewing meeting, when your gallery is ready.

The session fee is not included in any of the product packages.

A face-to-face viewing appointment will be scheduled within 3-5 weeks after the session date, right here in Scarborough photography studio.

Your gallery will always feature a minimum of 15 images to choose from.
